I do not have a bachelor's degree. I am an undergrad student. I am interested in doing a fast-track nursing program. The only fast-track nursing programs that I can find are for people who already have a bachelor's degree in a non-nursing related major. Are there any fast-track nursing schools (i.e. nursing schools that you can complete in 12-18 months) for undergraduate students who do not have a bachelor's degree or rn license?

I haven't heard of any, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. I know there are accelerated ASN programs, but the one in my area also require their applicants have a previous college degree. How far along are you in your undergrad that you can't just switch majors? If you're too far along, then apply to ABSN programs while you finish up your first degree. There are a few people in my class who have done that. They had just graduated and was in my ABSN program within a few weeks. The advantage is they are already in the study mode.

Well, my niece decided to get into a Licensed Practical Nurse program in Southern Cal. She only had to pass a few pre-requisites and do really well on an entry exam. She started a month ago and will be done in about 11 months. Most LPN work is in doctor's offices and LTC. You'll be focusing on the hands-on nursing skills and not so much of the critical thinking. I don't know where you live but if you go through a community college, it would be the least expensive and fastest route to a nursing career. When you are ready for the science and critical thinking portion, you can go through a bridge program for your RN.
