Are there any Diploma Nursing Programs in California?

I was just wondering if anyone knows any diploma nursing programs in California.. or more specifically Northern California around the San Francisco bay area.... or if not, anywhere in Cali? and what is the difference between diploma nursing programs and ADN programs...?

as a former california resident, i am not aware of any diploma programs in the state, period. most of the diploma schools are in hospitals on the east coast, and i think there are only about 60-something of them left. but check with the california board of nursing. if there is one available, the bon would know for sure.

the diploma and the associate's degree get you to the same place - the diploma is generally hospital-based, more on-the-job training, as opposed to classroom instruction/clinicals in an associate's degree from a community/junior college. or at least that's how my mother, proud graduate of a diploma program, put it to me.
