I want to improve my resume by adding bls/acls, but are those online courses legit and recognized by employers? Thanks

You can do half of it online, the hands on portion you must do in person.

If they are approved by the American Heart Association and will grant you an official BLS and ACLS card with the AHA logo, they are good. Be aware that online BLS/ACLS offer didactic content online but you must show up in person and pass the requirements in the skill stations/return demonstrations and oral examination/code scenario to receive your certificate.

Anything that is 100% online is NOT going to be accepted by employers. Additionally, sometimes only AHA is accepted, nothing else. Depends on employer's preferences. Be aware before you pay!
