I want to improve my resume by adding bls/acls, but are those online courses legit and recognized by employers? Thanks 0 Likes

juan de la cruz, MSN, RN, NP Specializes in APRN, Adult Critical Care, General Cardiology. Has 27 years experience. Jun 18, 2015 If they are approved by the American Heart Association and will grant you an official BLS and ACLS card with the AHA logo, they are good. Be aware that online BLS/ACLS offer didactic content online but you must show up in person and pass the requirements in the skill stations/return demonstrations and oral examination/code scenario to receive your certificate. 0 Likes
RNsRWe, ASN, RN Jun 18, 2015 Anything that is 100% online is NOT going to be accepted by employers. Additionally, sometimes only AHA is accepted, nothing else. Depends on employer's preferences. Be aware before you pay! 0 Likes
