Hi to all,
I would like to know if there are any one who went to CES after got RN license from CALIFORNIA. I need to endorse license in AZ and they need CES certification. Did you again do all the process again at the CGFNS(eg: sending OTR from schools )or you just told California to sent the documents directly to CGFNS?
I graduated from Philippines as an international student and there are no one who could again help me sending OTR and other stuff to CGFNS. I am so frustrated? Just wondering anyone has same situation or any information.
Regards,
Sad and waiting ...for the answer

I think if you read this forum, it is common practice even after many years working in the USA if you are a foreign grad and looking for endorsement to another state even if the nurse is now a US Citizen and has advanced their education in the USA. Every state has different rules.

You have to start an account with CGFNS to get started on the CES application if you've never used their services before. You will receive directions from CGFNS regarding the steps involved in the CES application process. Yes, you'll have to go through the process as if you are applying for a license for the first time since you are applying to a new state with a different set of requirements for foreign-educated nurses. All you need from California BRN is to forward a verification of your CA RN licensure to the BON in Arizona.
BTW, did you read the requirements from the AZ BON website? it states:
Request an application from Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools International (CGFNS) to obtain one of the following:
1. The Health Care Profession & Science Report
2. The Full Education Course by Course Report
3. International Health Care Professionals VISA screen certificate
4. CGFNS Certification (Option not available for foreign educated practical nurses.)
If you already have one of the above, all you have to do is have CGFNS forward the document to AZ BON. I got my BSN from the Philippines as well and I can tell you right now that if I have to endorse to AZ, I already have 2 out of the 4 requirements above and all they are asking is one of the four requirements.
Thank You Juan, appreciate your suggestion and information.
Have a good weekend.
