Arc Spring 2017

Published

Hi everyone!! I know that it is a little early but I just wanted to start a thread for anyone applying for the ADN program at Arc for Spring 2017. I am applying with what seems to be the 70 point minimum for the last few years so hopefully its enough this semester as well! Please feel free to reach out, since we may be seeing each other in the Spring.

Oh okay cool me too, I took stats 300 with Mary Martin. She was great! Who do you have

I have her now! She is very pleasant...

I logged onto the Los Rios website and you can pull up the actual class schedule and class size and how many are enrolled. For instance, 44 is the class capacity and 39 are currently in the class-which means 5 people may have dropped already!

She truly is, I had a mid B the whole semester then got a 95% on the final so I got an A. I did it online and it was actually understandable

A friend of mine told me that an EOPS counselor at ARC said that they need to know by November 11th If she's accepted into the nursing program so hopefully that means we might find out sooner than the full 8 weeks! Who knows, but I can hope!

5 people didn't drop, only 39 accepted positions by day one!

Good to know!! Thanks...

Adri0418- are you currently in that Fall 2016 semester? I would like to think that if the class can take 44 people, that they would indeed fill up the class, especially with how many people apply each semester.

bfoster618 i am in 3rd currently. It is not a guarantee that all will accept nor alternates accept. Some accept then get into sac state so it varies. My class started with 41

Well I got some bad news. I thought I was getting 5 points veteran status, but since I was National Guard, and not active duty I dont get the 5 points. Thing that sucks is that drops me down to a 65 on my prescreening. Anyone hear anything about Chamberlain College in sac? Its a lot of money, but Im already 40 years old and need to get in a program ASAP!

Adri0418 just wondering, what does a typical weeks schedule look like in ARC nursing program? I am curious about how many hours a day you are in class.
