ARC SCC ADN/RN Fall 2018

Published

Hello all,

I am applying for the Fall 2018 ARC SCC cohort and was looking for a group to join; I didn't find one so I thought I would make a post.

Are there any students who already have Bachelor's that are applying to the program? I am looking into funding and what to do for work while in the program because we do not qualify for aid.

Is anyone applying for scholarships? Anyone going to be working full-time during the program?

Also, is anyone else having trouble finding a TEAS testing time around Sacramento?

Good luck everyone!

OK, I made a page for fall. Group name is SCC Nursing Spring 19'

Shouldn't it be fall 18' or spring 20'?

Lolol, can you tell I'm a bit frazzled and excited?? í ½í¸‚. I'll change it to 18'. I promise I'm not dumb í ¾í·

I think I just submitted a request to join

I can't find it. Is it spring 2020 or fall 2018?

I requested the fall 18 one so I hope thats it lol

For anyone that has been through the SCC nursing program, is there any merging you recommend doing over the summer prior to starting? Classes, etc? I am trying to decided whether to take a pharmacology class.

I was told in another thread that the pharmacology class was to short to learn much but I am gonna take it anyways. I am already pretty versed on it but I let my Pharm tech certification expire a couple years ago and could use a refresher. I like to be prepared even if it only helps a little.

Are you taking is from SCC?

yes. It is online so I figure it will be manageable and not take too much of my summer.

For the ones accepted for admission in fall and spring, how many points did you guys apply with?

Just ST trying to see if there is a certain range that is randomly selected..

please share.

I got into fall 18 at SCC and applied there with a 72.5. I think its anything over 70 goes into the pool for selection.
