aquity system

I'm looking for a quick aquity system for our ICU. We are currently using a method called "VanSlick" wich involves a page of checklists to determine the aquity. It is difficult to use at best. Any suggestions????

TISS is the one used most often for critical care nursing aquity. If you want severity of illness, which is not used for staffing, there is SAPS and APACHE II. You can find more searching on the web or check out the medical algorithms page: http://www.medal.org/
