APU 2+2 for 2018 Spring

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi,

I'm applying for the APU 2+2 program for 2018 spring. I just received a call for interview. Super nervous because I don't know what to expected for interview. Can anyone help me?

Specializes in Pediatric/Adult Oncology.

When I applied and was admitted there was no interview process. It's not so much the questions they ask you (I'm not aware of what they ask but I'm assuming it's more personality based and why you are choosing nursing) but being honest about why you're choosing this university and why nursing. Don't stress it too much. The entire school is made of up of AMAZING professors and nurses. It's such a welcoming place. Just go in and be yourself. They want to get to know you instead of looking at you on paper. That's why they added the interview portion, with so many more applicants that looked the same on paper, they wanted to get to know the applicants.

I am in my first semester and the interview consisted of going over my transcripts and talking about what made me want to be a nurse. They also had me write a short essay. I was nervous too but yes, the faculty and staff here are amazing.
