APU LVN to BSN Summer 2020

I’m getting anxious too because I haven’t heard anything either. I wonder if all the emails got sent out on Tuesday. I was hoping my GPA was competitive enough but its so hard to be patient ugh

Silly question but did you reapply? I saw in some of your other posts that they told you your application would “roll over” or be kept on file for year but when I last spoke to Hannah, she told me that although they do keep out applications on file, we still need to reapply for each semester.

There was an error with my application and it said I was applying for the IE campus, but I wanted Monrovia. Fingers crossed!! ?I think from what I remember reading in these forums they do 2 rounds of competency testing? So it’s definitely still a big possibility you’ll hear back. Don’t count yourself out yet. And if you’re not accepted then don’t give up! I was so sure I’d get in last semester and I didn’t. And this semester I applied thinking I wouldn’t get in and I did! Everything in its own time.

Thank you I appreciate your encouragement! Yes I reapplied this semester but I’m just hoping my GPA helps because Hannah said it’s so competitive and a high GPA helps but I know there are other factors too. Just being patient...fingers crossed!

I think they might make more calls after the first round of competency testing depending on who passes/doesn’t pass. From what I remember last semester had 2 rounds of competency testing on different dates.

Just got an email that the competency testing scheduled for Monday is postponed until further notice. I’m assuming it’s due to all of this COVID-19 craziness. I’m wondering if it’ll impact the start date as well. APU announced that it will be transferring all campus classes to online classes as well starting Monday.

Disneyland is also closing starting Saturday as well because of the covid-19. My coworker attends APU and they’re doing online classes until further notice. I wonder if that is why they are taking longer?

Hi guys. I also got the email that the 3/16 competency test was rescheduled until further notice. Everything for the rest of this month has been either cancelled or postponed. Since the Summer cohort starts in May, I am hopeful we get to take it in April!
