Hello!
The deadline for this cohort was February 1st and I believe it takes somewhere between 6-8 weeks to hear back. I was hoping we could share each other's process in this forum. I'd love to hear from others!
Have a good day!

Hi nursejoy92! I applied for this cohort as well, at the Monrovia location. I submitted my application on 01/29 with a science GPA of 3.8 and a 3.5 cumulative GPA. It is indeed early but I know some people that got accepted to previous cohorts within 2 weeks of their submission. Did anyone else applied?
Best of luck!

Hey I applied to High Desert, 2+2 program. My GPA is kinda low 3.3 for both since and overall.
I really hope they will look into experience and reference from work. I work 3 years in 2 hospitals one of them is UCLA, also submitted the recommendation letter from Doctor..
What do you think is the odds to get in? I looked up previous forums people who posted had GPA 4.0 lol
Hello! I’m not really sure about the 2+2 program, I have not looked into it. But I know that for the LVN to BSN program they tend to look a lot at GPA.

Hello,
i also applied for the May cohort program at the Monrovia campus. I know it does usually take 4-6 weeks for them to make a decision, but I’m getting so anxious. I’m actually leaving WCU in Ontario for this, so I’m hoping I get in.

Hey there!
I remember how nerve wracking it was for me while waiting to hear back last semester so I thought I’d share my experience although it might be different since I know some of you applied to the 2+2 IE program. I applied to the LVN-BSN program. I received an email today inviting me to take a skills and written competency exam next month which is $300. I had originally applied for Spring 2020 and was denied admission. I figured I’d retake some classes to boost my GPA (Cum: 3.1/Science: 3.4) and in the meantime, I reapplied with the same application for Summer 2020 not thinking I’d get in. The email states “Your acceptance to the program is complete when you have successfully passed the written and skills competency test.” I’m pretty confident in my nursing skills and I test well so I’m not too worried about the exam. For reference I have 5 years of pediatric experience as an LVN in various settings.

I reapplied for Summer 2020 with the same exact application as Spring 2020 which included the same 3.1/3.4 GPA.
Oh OK that is great and congratulations! For the Monrovia campus right?

Thank you! Correct Monrovia campus
Maria Alberto,
Congrats! My coworker got the same e-mail on Tuesday too. I haven't heard anything yet..I am so worried. There was an error with my application and it said I was applying for the IE campus, but I wanted Monrovia. They changed my location last week, so I am hoping that doesn't delay my application or they don't skip it. I am stressing out every day I don't get an email or a phone call...?
