APU LVN to BSN Spring 2019

Published

Hello! I applied to the the monrovia campus for Spring 2019. I turned in my paperwork September 18th just waiting to hear back soon! Good luck to everyone that applied!

But remind people that you originally applied for fall 2018 and got deferred to spring 2019

Also maybe they are contacting the people that got pushed pack a start date first from the previous application period first? Idk anyway congrats on getting in and starting spring! I hope I don't get pushed back and have to start summer ugh

Yea, sorry, was doing a lot when I posted. Good luck to you as well!

Crossing my fingers for the both of us

Did anyone get an email saying welcome to APU, to create you new email? If so what does that mean?

you should have been sent an email with your apu.edu email address, if not contact customer care to set it up. That is how you will log in to the apu site to register in the future.

This is first time receiving this. I just took my competency Tuesday. Sowhen I got this email I'm like wait what's going on? So when did you recieve your email?

I contacted Hannah and she replied on november 5 saying, "The decision process can take 5-7 weeks, so decisions should be communicated within the next few weeks. All decisions are sent out by mail, from the department." I followed up regarding the application I sent on june for Spring 2019. Looking how people are already getting interviewed and having their competency test makes me nervous! I'm thinking they may have skipped my application and moved on with other applicants. But I want to stay positive. I'm still hoping and praying I can get in the program. Anyway there is still 2 more weeks until their decision period is over. So to those who are still waiting for a decision, hang in there!!!

I received my apu email the day I was told that i was accepted into Spring 2019 term. Also, just took my competency exam Tuesday and received notice for orientation yesterday. Again, this is for the IE campus. So the process is a bit different. You received notice of the exam 2 weeks prior. We received notice on Friday and was told immediately when we passed.

Listen I would Call Hannah again after the 7 weeks I'd up an dank them was your application for sure amongst the spring 2019. I feel like a ball was dropped for you. The monrovia campus had two test dates the 30th and the 6th. So far I know one young lady in our group who was already given an alternate spot for summer 19 before she tested with ne tues. I also have a friend who applied on September 28 she was called on the 24th and told her application will be moved for the next application for summer 2019. Call and ask

Oh okay so your in the IE. I guess Monrovia moving differently we are still waiting on the official acceptance. All I got was that email set up but nothing from the school saying I was in or not. So that's why I'm all confused

I'm hoping that they are just contacting the applicants that were pushed back then will go forward with the people that applied for the spring semester. I honestly don't know of people not being accepted just them getting deferred to a later start date. Monrovia is slower.
