Hi everyone. Just an update. I had my competency test today and PASSED! Woohoo!! Best of luck to anyone else who will be testing. The study guide they give you is very helpful and best to watch videos on YouTube regarding the skills you may be performing and know them all well. Some of us had vitals and some had O2 admin and everyone had a med pass. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they change it up per cohort. Luckily all those things were covered in the study guide. The instructors are very nice and want you to pass, so don't feel like they're looking to trip you up. Anyone starting IE fall cohort,, I'll see you at orientation!

Thank you for the tips! I'm getting nervous for the exam next week.

Hi Andrea123, don't be nervous. They are really warm and caring and want you to pass. The test is mostly scenarios and some light dosage calculations. They won't test you on what you weren't prepared for with the studyguide. Have faith in yourself and you will do fine. It appeared as though everyone in my group that was there Friday passed. Then we had to try on scrubs to have them ordered on time. Also heads up to everyone.. They're pricey and don't stretch lol. $54/top and $31/bottom. Best of luck to everyone!!!!
