APU ELM Summer 2019

Published

Hey all, just wondering who else plans on applying to this upcoming cycle since the deadline is coming up. I actually applied to the spring term, interviewed, but did not get accepted. Hopefully it works out this time :)

If it makes you feel better, you're not doing anything wrong on your part :) it just takes the school a little while to process everything in your folder and then get the decision uploaded

I emailed the inland empire rep and they said I should be getting a letter mailed out soon. I dont get why I dont see it online on my profile.

Anyone applied to the Monrovia campus?

Monrovia is the main campus:) yes ive applied and got accepted

Locations

Azusa (main campus), Inland Empire, Monrovia, San Diego.. this is from the website.. I originally applied to Azusa.. but when they called me for interview I was directed to Monrovia

were all the ones that got accepted for summer 2019 sd applied for that semester or another one?

bc i applied for this one (this thread summer 19) and got spring 2020. not sure how they base who gets in earlier

The professor who interviewed me said that all of us accepted in the main campus will have to do the first half of the program in Monrovia campus. The second half of the program will be on Azusa campus.

@rashellm I applied for the summer 2019 cohort and was accepted. I read in previous comments that this pool of applicants had a lot of good candidates for the program, so they decided to open up future cohorts to ensure students would have a spot

anyone from inland empire cohort know how we know if we got accepted or rejected? I was told we would have gotten the notification by last friday

looking at previous threads, you can give them a call to find out if you got accepted or not

I have not heard back yet not sure why I think I got rejected? I called too no one could tell me either.

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering how old everyone was who got accepted to the San Diego cohort. I know when I was interviewed I was told it is usually a good mix of ages and I love getting to learn from others around me that have more experience! When the program starts I will be 22 :)
