APU 2+2 BSN program Summer 2022 Admissions

Published

Hi All

I created this thread to see if anyone else is applying to Azusa‘s 2+2 BSN program, either at their Monrovia location, high desert location, or inland empire location?

I have already sent in my application for the Feb 1st cut off.

Here are my stats

Science GPA: 3.53

Total GPA: 3.79

This is all based on me using a GPA calculator online.

I am not sure if my health care and volunteer experience will help but I did put it on my resume.

Volunteer: 10 months at Loma Linda Hospital

Health Care 10 years ( Caregiver then MA)

I am curious to see how everyone else is feeling, which location y’all are planning to apply to and what your stats are.

No, I checked my mailbox yesterday and didn’t see any APU mails. I also applied for ADN in MtSac. They will send out invitation tomorrow so hopefully apu will notify us soon too.

@HeidiNg I have a feeling we won’t hear back until end of March maybe the 28th ?

Yeah I guess. I just received an invitation to take TEAS test in MtSac so something to work on now. I’m still leaning towards APU though

Hi all!

Has anyone heard about any admissions decisions? I called and the woman said that we should be hearing back any day now up until mid April.

Good luck to everyone!! So nervous and anxious to know!!

Fingers are crossed! ??

@NurseC824 I haven’t heard anything yet! As soon as I do I will let you know. Good luck ? ??.

Specializes in LVN.

Hi guys, I applied to the IE campus. I haven't heard anything back yet. I'm hoping to get in this time since this is not my first time applying. My cumulative GPA is 3.4 and science is 4.0. Good luck to you all!

I applied to the high desert campus as my first choice. The wait is killer. I applied last semester (Oct 1 deadline )and got my denial very beginning of nov. So the fact that we still haven’t heard this time around is stressing me out. I check the application portal and I also check the apu.home log in. Usually when going to the apu home log it there’s a link that says application status and will show my current application. Today it said I had no applications ? im wondering if that  means decisions are made and we will find out soon.

Hi, thanks for your update. Did you mean the 100% status and review application button? Mine is still showing 100%. I read that you are chosen your log in page will look like portal to sign in for classes. Does that happen to you?

No, Mine still just shows the 100% application. Nothing yet.

Oh are you a former apu student? How I log in apu.home without ID though? Sorry this is my first time applying

I am not a former student. The first time I applied to the program I thought you had to apply to the school first so I did. Then my counselor told me I didn’t and told me how to apply. I’m honestly not sure how I have a apuid log in  maybe it’s from when I first originally applied to just the school ? but I have had the log in and it used to always show my application under a application status tab. Now as of today it says no applications ? so I have no idea LOL but under the “Regular apply portal “ it still just shows 100%.
sorry if none of this makes sense LOL

Has anyone heard anything yet ? I feel like it has to be anytime now.
