Hello,
I'm looking to apply to Nova Southeastern University, since I know they have strong health programs in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Did anyone apply to the APRN-FNP in West Palm Beach? How's the program? Thanks!

Nova is a very good school, so I'm sure their NP program is good. One thing I don't like about their program is that you have to find your own preceptors and arrange all your clinicals with them. I feel brick-and-mortar schools should take the time to arrange all this for you. From what I read on other threads, finding your own preceptors can sometimes be quite a challenge and create undue stress. Otherwise, Nova has a good reputation. I got accepted to University of Tampa's NP program, and will start there in Jan.
Nova is a good school, but for some reason, I haven't been able to find much information on their program. It seems like their program is very new and they're in the process of making lots of changes. I can't find anyone that graduated from there either.

Has anyone graduated from the NOVA FNP program? How was the program? How many years did it take? Did you pass your boards?
I am thinking of applying.

I am current FNP student. All schools require NP student to find and arrange own agreement with preceptors. Not for this reason, but others I wouldn't recommend NOVA to anyone. To much drama.
I've heard their staff is difficult and unorganized too

Hi, I wanted to know if anyone could give me any extra information on NUS MSN-FNP program, I am looking into the school and I have already started the application. A few questions that I have are, what were some of your gpa's getting into the program? Are the first semester courses online? Are there exams and papers in all of the core and theory classes? What is the level of difficulty and what makes the program difficult? And do yo receive assistance from the teachers with your assignments? Thank you, I hope to hear from someone soon.
