Anyone out there have any advice for the program and interview on Union in Tennessee?? Can anyone tell me what the program is like??? Thanks in advance for replying!!!
If you get in at Erlanger, be prepared to work your but off. A couple of my buddies graduated from there and one is still in school there. That hospital runs off of the CRNA program and depends on the SRNAs to administer anesthesia. My buddy says that he is doing clinical sometimes 60 hours per week including call time in addition to didactic work. You probably get good training and alot of cases though.
My wife received her call for acceptance to Union last night. She was told those that were accepted would receive a phone call and the remainder would receive a letter in the mail. I'm not sure if they are still calling people or not but good luck to all if they are still calling. I just wanted to let you all know the process is in motion because know this is an anxious time.
Go to www.aana.com it has links to every accredited crna program in the country I'm guessing phone calls were for the ones admitted but alternates probably got letters so there still a chance. I have heard of alot of alternates getting called up I'll keep my fingers crossed
There were 2 or 3 that made it as alternates in my class. So it can happen. It does kind of put you in a bind because you could be notified from now until January. But on the bright side, there is still a chance. Nothing you can really do but wait it out. Some people who were accepted may get offers elsewhere and there are a lot of things that could happen in six months. Its a very precarious position to be in, i can only imagine.

One of my friends at Union told me that X told them that he was sending mail notifications out on Wednesay. Depending on where you are, you could know today or tomorrow. I didn't get anything today. I am expecting it tomorrow. I also applied to Samford U in Birmingham, AL. I don't graduate with my BSN until end of July, and the application process for a pending degree is unbelievably difficult. If any of you get in, give me a hollar via private message.
