Applying to Nursing School After Declining Acceptance

Published

I was wait-listed and eventually was accepted into the nursing program last year at Carroll Community College, but then declined the seat due to my husband losing his job. The director of the program told me to reapply when I was ready. My husband is now employed with a very good position and I wanted to know whether anyone thinks it would be more difficult to be accepted the second time around, despite my hardship at the time.

I really want to get in - it's all I ever thought about it and still think about.

Thank you.

You won't know unless you do it. So just do it. No point in stressing . Apply and find out.

So sorry to hear that you had to do that! I can't even imagine how hard that was for you ;( My new favorite quote:

"The answer is always NO...unless you ask."

In your instance, unless you apply :) I was rejected three times so far (all different schools at different times) and it's insanely stressful for me to even fathom the thought of getting turned down again :( :( BUT...I HAVE TO DO IT! There is nothing else in this world that I want!

Wishing you the BEST of luck!!
