Applying for NJ License

In New Jersey, do you have to apply for a temporary license before you take the NCLEX like in PA? Thanks

I've never heard of hospitals hiring without a liscense unless it's in an extern position and under the supervision of an RN. However it's not all the "nursing" duties, but more of what an LPN or tech would do.

And if you get a liscense in one state, you can apply for reciprocity of any other state you want. You just have to go through their application process. I plan on applying for reciprocity in PA and NC.
