I think it probably differs from school to school.I applied to the part time RPN course at Georgian and wrote the assessment test for mature students(I had been out of school for 20 years!).I also had to pick up my grade 12 chemistry and biology, which I did through the college. The assessment test was pretty much english and basic math( algebra and fractions, percentages etc). The math questions were still testing your reading and comprehension though. Most of the questions were word problems that you had to read VERY carefully before you answered them.

One and a half years to go!!!

Good luck to you.

Thanks a lot. was there a waiting list before you got in?

:chuckle :roll :chuckle the opposite. they didn't know if they would have enough people to go ahead with the class. We started with 32(?) and we have 21 left.I think that that is generally the case with part time programs.Full time is a different story from what I have heard.:nurse:

I have heard that Humber is a good program.I went to Georgian because I am close to the Orangeville campus.

LOL :rotfl: i hope i wont have a problem to get in coz i wanna go full time. i have heard that there are long waiting lists for RNs and i was wondering how it was with rpn's.
