Hi , I am from the Philippines. I'm an NCLEX RN passer, California BRN to be specific and since I still have no SSN yet I wasn't issued a license. I just want to know the steps and requirements in applying for a license to New Jersey Board of Nursing. Though I have downloaded from their website the Information in applying for a license I haven't found the steps and requirements on how to apply license if you are already an NCLEX passer from another state like California... Your response on this matter will be highly appreciated..

There are not many states that have a process of applying for a license if you have passed and meet CA requirements but have not been issued a license. More than likely you will have to meet requirements for license by application for International trained nurse and arrange CA to forward NCLEX results. Best bet is email or phone the BON and ask them
