Published

Hey guys! just posting up a thread to see if anyone is applying to fgcu nursing program this upcoming fall

Okay that makes me feel better! Thanks guys! I can't wait to find out tomorrow!!

I Got in!!!!

I know when I was nervous about applying i looked in old threads for some reassurance so here are my scores

GPA when applied was a 3.5 (B in A&P 1 and 2 and a C in biology, A in all other Prereqs)

I took the TEAS twice, i got 74 both times but i turned in my Teas where i scored a 78 on the science section!!!

SOOOO excited that i got in! i knew there was a small chance i got in, very surprised.

I finally got my letter (my mail comes so late lol) and I got in!!! I'm so excited to start now!

Whoot Whoot! Congrats everyone!

congratz everybody! i got accepted into fgcu but will declining my seat for someone! :)

Congrats @catsfurdayz !!! and you were worried!

Anyone have any idea how many were accepted this semester? I know when I was trying to look at the classes we all have to take for the 1st semester, they were 70 slots allotted per class.

I heard usually around 300 apply but I'm not sure! Oh and does anyone know when we actually get to sign up for the classes?

We'll receive our pAckets at the beginning of May and then after we meet our advisor and then I think we sign up

Oh okay! I live out of state though so I hope I can meet with my advisor before I go home!

Congrats to everyone! I was also accepted for Fall 2014, and I look forward to getting to know all of you!

Where are you guys planning on living? I'm coming from the west coast and I have no idea!?!?!

I like in Cape Coral. It is a drive, but it is doable. I am having a lot of issues with Edison and FGCU though, so I hope I do not lose my spot in the program. Edison is refusing to send my AA degree because of a mistake they made. And FGCU is saying that I have to take a class this summer with no Financial Aid to keep my student status, but i have a hold because of the miss AA degree. GRRRR

Specializes in NICU.

I graduate in December from FGCU. Good luck guys, it's the best (and most stressful) time of your life!
