Applying for Cuesta College RN Program for Fall 2012

I am going to be taking my physiology and microbiology prerequisite in next Fall and Spring, and applying Summer 2011 to get into the nursing program at Cuesta college for fall 2012. They keep changing the requirements to get in. From what I heard they are going to look at my GPA which they have been doing and will look at other criteria. What other criteria will they be looking at? Is anyone else applying to an impacted program and know the specific criteria impacted programs look at?

i did get in to cuesta. i hope the college pulls through the accreditation mumbo jumbo. did they tell you what position you are on the wait list? i hope you make it in too!

i'm #7 on the list! what's funny is #7 is my favorite number! ha. go figure.

but still getting in is not out of reach.

errr, I meant yesterday. I've just had a long day at work and yesterday seem ages ago!

I got my notification yesterday too but failed to check the mail so I opened the letter today when I saw a huge envelope that said "Open Immediately". I just ripped it open! So much for the excitement =/ At least I know!

#7 and #10, I bet you get in. Part of me wonders if some of the "in" applicants will turn their spots down if they applied to other places as well, given Cuesta's current accreditation issues. Crossing my fingers for you both!

Yeah it seems like this year has been a lot more attention and seriousness to the matter than last year. I never took classes at the Paso Robles campus - only my CNA exam and everything there is like brand-spanking new!

Ah, you're right. I just reread my paperwork, so it looks like we don't get to attend unless there are more changes in the list this month. So close!
