I am in a second degree nursing program and will be done in August. Yay! Yet I am still ambivalent about finding a job. I am originally from Colorado but I am nursing school in West Virginia so i am also trying to figure out where I will be moving. The plan was wherever I get a job! Everyone says to apply early, but so far all the jobs I have applied to will not accept new grads. Anyone want to share their thoughts about finding their first job before or shortly after graduating?

Well i applied for tons of new grad residencies but no luck. I also applied for ever nursing position available with many hospitals in my area but my applications were being rejected due to either not have a BSN or experience. So I attended a Job Fair and placed about 20 copies of my resume in a certain hospital's inbox since their rep wasn't present for the job fair. A few days after the job fair I received a call from HR about interviewing for the Nurse Clinician I ER position, I interviewed well and was offered the job the following day.
