Applied to GRU (now Augusta University) CRNA program for Fall 2016

Submitted my application recently for the Oct 1st deadline for GRU...Wanted to start a thread to see if there was anyone else who applied and if we can chat about stats, interviews, etc. I emailed the other day to see when the supplemental fee would be available to pay, responded that we should receive an email to be able to pay soon.

Just that last email saying we would get notified for interviews in 10-15 business days.. No word on the supplemental

I'm trying not to be impatient but it's getting excruciating waiting and waiting to hear something. Checking my email every day but still no supplemental app. Nursing CAS took 3 weeks to verify my coursework after I submitted my application. Good luck to everyone applying!

Hi,

Im a current nursing anesthesia student at GRU.

There is definitely an interview process. Invitations to interview were sent to us around mid-November.

The interview will be in December, probably during our Christmas Break.

About the interview:

The interview is very informal especially compared to schools in the other areas but definitely intimidating. Most of the questions they asked were not clinical but really more personal. A lot of people were asked about grades (why they made C's, etc), GRE, family life, and your nursing experience.

After the interview, they will call the first round of people who got accepted in January.
