Hey ya'll! I currently am enrolled at University of Mississippi but just applied to Belmont for nursing school. My GPA is currently a 3.0. I've made A's in all my science classes except for Chemistry. My act score is a 23. How hard is it to get into Belmont nursing? Is it very competitive? Should I worry?
Also, if you go to Belmont currently - what were the GPA's of your friends who got into the nursing program?
Thank you!

I don't know anything about the schools in MS, but it's not going to help you to worry at this point. You already applied, so worry and strife won't change anything.

Hello, I recently graduated from Belmont this past 2011!! I loved it!! The campus is beautiful and the teachers are very friendly and knowledgeable..I know that you have to have a 3.0 Gpa but I would say that the average Gpa is 3.2-3.3..Feel free to ask me any questions~ dRiveN10

What is Belmont's grading system? Is a 90-100 considered an 'A' still

Does Belmont look more at prerequisite GPA or overall GPA? I am a second degree seeking student. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA in Public Health but I'm now hoping to attend Belmonts accelerated BSN program. I need to retake psych and stats, A&P I&II, and I need to take abnormal psych and religion. Can anyone share their grades in prerequisites who was accepted so I can better Gage what I need to get in these classes? Does anyone know how many students they accept and how many apply to the accelerated program?
