Hi,
I live in Israel.
I'm a registered nurse for about a year.
I would like to know how can I apply for Licensure to take the NCLEX exam in FL?
What is the process as well?
Thanks.

All information regarding applying for licensure to Florida can be found and downloaded from their website Licensure Information for foreign educated nurses
You will need credential evaluation doing before you send in your application and recommend CGFNS as that is accepted by all states. Once CES is done by CGFNS then send in your application to Florida BON and once they assess your application they will give you the go ahead to register with pearsonvue and arrange to sit the NCLEX. Once pearsonvue receives OK from BON they will send you your ATT (OK to sit exam)
Would also recommend a good read in this forum as there are current immigration issues you need to be aware of.
Good luck

hello.. good day to all. i already sent my nclex application (california) last july 2008 thru FEDEX and i haven't receive any answer or letter up to now regarding it... some of my friends received a letter from the BON and some already received their eligibility... I'm just wandering why i haven't received mine. I just want to follow it up and I hope my application will be processed soon... Or if I have any lacking documents and mistakes regarding my application, I also hope that I may be notified... Thank you and Godbless...

just give time for the cali bon to evaluate your application. there is an in flux of application so thats why it take time on there part. while waiting for it maybe start browsing your books and have a self review so that when the time your eligibility arrive you can have your formal reivew and be ready for the nclex-rn exam.
