Application for examination as a Foreign Graduate in the Philippines year 2011

Published

Hi. I am Maria, I am an RN back in the Philippines and I am planning to take the nclex here in arizona. I already have cgfns and paid for the processing of my application to the board last 2 weeks ago. They said that it will take 30days for them to process my application. I am about to register for Pearson for the schedule test But I heard that they are having issues with 2011 graduate from the Philippines. I dont know if they will make me eligible to sit for the nclex exam. Also I just got here in the US this march as a permanent resident and I am currently working as a healthcenter secretary to one of the retirement center in az. I am really confused right now. I already spent a lot. Now, I dont know if they will make me eligible to take the test or I will start as a new student here in az. :(

Hello Maria,

I m International student and living in Phoenix, AZ but I m Appling for Texas since I planning moving there. My CGFNS report issued and now in the middle process. I would like to have study partner and we can share material as well if you are interested. my email is below

[email protected].

Good luck for your application process.

Hi Maria! although I'm not residing in AZ but I'm a PH graduate too :) Did you already have your ATT from AZ BON? If I'm not mistaken, you need to have it before you register for the exam on Pearson. Don't be disappointed, you can eventually take your NCLEX :)

What's the reason for denial? were you able to know? I graduated 5 years ago, it'll be 6 next year, I applied for Washington state. Usually they have requirements for IENs like you need to have proof of working experience as an RN after graduation, so far WA state doesn't impose that rule, that's according to their website. Try to search for states that you know your credentials can be considered.

Today. I just recieved email from the Board of Nursing here in Az they are requiring me english test and 6 months refreshal course. I am not worried about the refreshal course since I can take it whenever I want it. I can still take the test even though I havent yet started that refreshal course. I am more worried about the english test. I am planning to take TOEFL. I am not good at writting nor speaking english. (T_T)

I'll send you a pm :)

Right, they asked me proof of working experience as an RN after graduation.

Hello Maria,

Still Positive sign . Good luck for TOFEL

Are they requiring you to take refreshal course? Then take it. Its a sort of review too. They also require me to have my refreshal course but they said that I can take the nclex exam once I get my english test done and still have my licensed issued temporarily if ever I will passed the nclex and still do my refreshal course at the same time. (:

I see, you still have 48 (CA BON is not an option :/ ) states to choose from :) we'll have this eventually! ;)
