Hi everyone,
I have applied for my RN license through the California BON as well as created an account and paid for NCLEX registration through Pearson Vue. Yesterday (June 5) my application was approved through the CA-BON, yet I did not receive an ATT email. I know it has only been about a day, but I know many people get their ATT email right away after the BON approves them.
Should I call the BON or Pearson Vue? Or give it another day...?
Thank you so much!!

Give it another day and check your "spam" email folder if you have one. Calling won't do much good as the CA BON do not actually answer their phones. Good luck!!

I submitted my application for licensure by examination back in October, graduate in May, transcripts were sent out mid-May. Does anyone know what the timeline for this looks like? i have friends from other states who graduated with me and have already been able to take/find out results of NCLEX. I am starting to get a bit stressed out
That seems excessively long, assuming you have no criminal history or other special circumstances. Have you contacted the BON in your state?
So, I applied to the California BON. I called 3-4 times and usually am on hold for about 1-2 hours each time. Everyone gives me a different answer so I am having a hard time figuring out what the correct answer is. The BON website says it takes 10-12 weeks for processing for licensure by examination but again, my application was submitted MONTHS ago and my transcripts/other forms were sent out May 21! STILL no ATT. I am coming from out of state but I do not have any criminal background/special circumstances so I am really not sure if this is normal to be waiting this long. I was told 4-6 weeks from one person and 10-12 weeks from another and then 6-8 weeks from ANOTHER person. Just frustrated and worried I won't be able to accept the job I am wanting because it requires boards to have been passed/taken by a certain date. If anyone has any insight or knows if this is normal please let me know!! thanks
Ah, I saw "MO" as your state and thought that's where you were applying. Twelve weeks AFTER everything is received is totally normal for CA. I also thought you initially sent everything in October. It's early morning (3PM) for me. Just keep waiting. I'm surprised they even spoke to you on the phone at this point.
Oh jeez 12 weeks seems like an awfully long time, if it takes that long I probably won't be able to accept my job! Thank you for your help though I really do appreciate it.
A lot of employers won't make an offer until you have a license in hand. They know it's not a fast process. I hope you can keep the job you got or find another one. Good luck!!

I am in the same boat, so I called the BRN today and they said it takes 3-5 business days for my approval to get to Pearson (not really sure why..) and then Pearson says that once they receive approval from the BRN, it takes 24-48 hours to get your ATT.
