Apollo College or a Community College?

Published

Hi everyone, my name is Sam and I am torn. I graduated Apollo College in Mesa, AZ in November. They promised me help finding a job and I have yet to be contacted about any sort of job. Lucky for me my boyfriend is helping out with everything until I finish school. I have an 18mo old son and I don't want to be away from him all of the time. I tried applying at numerous places and never even got a call back. So I decided to just go back to school. The Phoenix Apollo has a Nursing program. No wait list and I would be done in 2 years. I hear the local community colleges have a wait list and it will take me like 4-6 years to graduate with my RN. I went to MCC and they pretty much didn't help at all. The tuition for Apollo would be around $50,000. I already have a tuition debt of $12,000 I get to start paying on in April for my MA program. I am afraid if I go to Apollo again and still can't find a job after I get my RN, I will owe $75,000 with nothing to show for it. I was just wondering if you guys suggest I try and go to a community college or Apollo instead? I don't really know what to do and neither does anyone else it seems. :uhoh3:
