Apollo College- Boise

Published

Hi there,

My military husband recently got orders to Idaho, we'll be heading there in 10 weeks give or take. I'm checking out the LPN & RN programs in the area and finding that the waiting lists are pretty obscene. I just started checking out Apollo. Does anyone know anything about this (besides the fact that it's very expensive- that I already know). Is it true that they don't require pre-req's? I read somewhere on here that they can be taken concurrently. I do have a Bachelor's, but it's in Education so I am missing most of the sciences etc. Is there a waiting list, and does anyone know how often the program starts and the start dates? Thanks so much for any info!

Bump, don't want this to get lost..

Hi there, i'm new to this site. In fact i've been an lpn now for 8 months. I live in meridian and go to apollo college in boise. I graduated with there lpn program and am now in the RN bridge program. The program is not hard to get into, you just have to pass there compass test. The price of the lpn program is around $25,000 and the RN bridge is about another $8,000. There are all together 6 semesters, each consisting about 4 months a semester. The LPN program is 3, the RN bridge is another 3. There are no pre reqs required to get into the LPN, except a Highschool graduation. The 4th semester is all your prereqs. This is the semester that i'm in right now. Iv'e already taken psychology and sociology so the only classes i'm taking this semester is English, Advanced A&P and Communications. Friends of mine blew right by the 4th semester because they had taken all these previously. They start a new lpn class every 4 months. I hope this has helped alittle and if you have anymore questions feel free to ask. :nuke:
