Anything wrong with retaking A&P?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I just feel like because I didn't do so hot in the class the first time that maybe i should step back and re-evaluate my thoughts a bit, but then I realized that there's really nothing else for me to do besides becoming a nurse.

I got a C in A&P I, and have yet to take A&P II. I am thinking of taking it in the summer time with a teacher that I really liked but I just wanted to know how do you guys study for A&P? It's a lot of information to retain and this specific teacher does test for specific details but I really don't mind it at all.

I plan on applying by fall of 2010 provided I do well in this class and provided I do well in A&P II. I also wanted to know if the nursing schools (in your experience) would see repeated classes as a detrimental factor to your application? I tend to do a lot better whenever I retake a class (as evidenced in my previous classes) so I am confident I can do better here.

people are allowed to make mistakes. if anything, i think it's good if you retake a class, especially when you have a C. most people wouldnt even go retake a class when they received a C (since most schools accept Cs). Schools usually take the higher grade anyway or average it at the least. I think the best way to study for A&P is to really review each and every day. If you take it in the summer, i think it'll be easier to review each day. you should divide a small amount for each day :) i would get the A&P coloring book... its pretty cool.
