Hi everyone! I've always really liked the concept of Teach for America, but I don't want to be a teacher, I want to be a nurse :)
I was just curious, are there any organizations that look for nurses to do similar stints like Teach for America? Meaning a short term gig (1-2 years) working in an underserved area, you get paid but not amazingly well, and everything? Just something similar in the field of nursing?

You can become a nurse educator with a master degree making you able to teach in the college/university.I hope this helps and good luck.

I'm sure there are other service oriented programs too, but don't know of anything terrible specific.
