Anyone working in a Casino?

Hi! I am a RN working in a Casino in Canada. We are called Company Nurses, but our main duties are to attend medical emergencies in our Nurses' Station or out on the Casino floor. We are able to give emergency medications and oxygen to stabilize patients while waiting for medical transport. Sometimes it can be pretty scary, weird, frustrating and fulfilling. I would like to communicate with nurses working in simular situations and share experiences.

I have and I hated it. The liability was ridiculous. Some of the people I dealt with were out of their mind. The casino expected you the RN to be the doctor. Even the other nurses wanted to diagnose patients. The doctors were not useful at all, but this was in Atlantic City. It may be better elsewhere.

I think these alternative environments such as casinos, theme parks, national parks, cruise ships, etc. would be rather appealing for a while.
