I had a couple people offer to do this for me, but I got no feedback... I do have a general question if anyone could answer, though.
I used the term "midlevel provider" in the first essay I submitted. After reading some more, I found that it is somewhat of a contentious term. Should I try to stay away from it for my next essays? I don't know how "offensive" it is. It doesn't bother me at all, and I have heard RNs call PAs and NPs "midlevels" but I don't want to make a dumb mistake that will just sit wrong with the admissions committee.
Actually I forgot one person did give me feedback on the first one, which was truly helpful, so sorry for saying that!
I did end up changing it to "healthcare provider" and I think it works. I was using it because I thought I wanted to become a PA, so I write about that and how it led me to NP instead.
I am working on a draft for the next application and will probably have it done tomorrow night. If you are willing to look at it, I would love that. I will PM you my email address. If not, it is okay!

I am applying to a direct-entry MSN program and hoping to eventually get into the FNP track. If anyone would be willing to take a look at my personal statement, I would really appreciate it. Not looking for any help with little things like grammar (I can figure that out on my own), but general content, organization, etc. Please PM me if you're willing to take a look (I hope I can PM back now...). Thank you!
