  1. Crazy, huh? I wish life had a fast forward button....
  2. Good question. I have been wondering the same thing. One current student I spoke to said maybe take a patho class, if possible. But other than that to just relax as you will be busy like never before once you start the program. I asked if I should take an O. Chem class and he stated I should not. This response surprised me. I'm interested in other people's opinions.
  3. For those of you that have submitted your application, how long was it before you received any type of confirmation regarding supporting materials? Such as transcripts, LORs, etc. It has been a week since I have sent mine and have heard nothing back. Wondering if this is the norm ...
  4. Going for the FNP track. I have yet to submit my app, in the end stages though. You? I've done americorps at a clinic and worked as an in-home caregiver, while volunteering. What about you?
  5. Nice! Dommem, where else are you applying? I'm applying to PLU as well. I wish I could apply elsewhere but my wife has a good job out here so I'm looking to stay local. I will also apply to UW and SPU for their BSN routes...gotta have a plan B
  6. Im applying as well, but to the FNP track. Just took the GRE yesterday and I am elated it is over! On to the essays...How far along are you guys in the application process? Wish you all luck!
  7. I have been wondering the same thing! I am currently preparing an app. for the FNP (apni) program. How about you?
  8. Thank you guys! I will definitely be sure to discipline my in terms of time management and not falling behind. But what worries me most is what you just touched on: there is not an instructor telling me what the most crucial info is. I feel if I do not have this direction, the material could be too overwhelming or I may spend too much time of stuff that won't be on exams. Speaking of exams, what are they like when online? are they timed?
  9. Hey all, So due to a recent move (hour drive to campus) and work my schedule (roughly 20 hrs weekly), I have registered for two hybrid courses where only labs will be on campus and the rest is online. I will be taking both A&P1 and intro. organic/bio chem in the winter. I am not thrilled about taking hybrid courses and it is causing me a bit of anxiety. What are some of your guys' experience with science hybrids? Any helpful tips? What is organic chem. like? Am I nuts?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
