Anyone doing Weatherford lvn to rn transition?

Published

Hello, I just submitted my application for Weatherford College's LVN to RN transition program and wanted to see if anyone else is applying for the summer 2019?

I just received a letter. Be looking in your mailboxes!

Yay!! Did you get accepted!? How many points did you have. My husband said mine came but I told him not to open it yet haha what kind of envelope was it in?

Yes I was accepted. I had 30 points. It came in a normal white envelope saying it’s from the college. Only a few things in it, telling you what to do before orientation.

I was chosen as an alternate.

Follow the instructions they gave you. If anyone drops out, you need to be ready.

I was also chosen as an alternate

I’m working on it now. I’m quite disappointed but I’m going to remain hopeful and do everything to be ready!? Just in case!

I believe NCTC has a transition program also, but I think the deadline for applications is real soon (like in a couple of days). If that doesn’t work out, I recommend retaking your TEAS to improve your score, taking your remaining BSN classes, or retaking a low graded class. The next transition program for Weatherford is located at their Wise County Campus in Bridgeport.

So did anyone not have to do their fingerprints? I didn’t have to and I’m waiting on the blue post card from the BON. I’m just wondering if anyone has received theirs yet? Because I haven’t and I thought I remember it coming pretty quick last time.

I didn't have to do mine and I received my blue card already.

Do you remember when you received it? I’m just wondering how long I should wait.

I received it yesterday
