Anyone doing Weatherford lvn to rn transition?

Published

Hello, I just submitted my application for Weatherford College's LVN to RN transition program and wanted to see if anyone else is applying for the summer 2019?

Well let us know if anyone gets anything so we can be on the lookout. Good luck y’all!!

I heard of a few people who has gotten their rejection letter so maybe only rejection letters went out for now. Good luck to us! Hope we get our letters soon. The wait is killing me

My worst fear is that Paula lost my application!! Haha when I went in to turn it in she seemed a little disorganized ?

I felt the same way about her too!

So I called Paula and she said acceptance and alternative letters are going out this week. She asked me if I received any letter yet and I said no, so I'm guessing that's her way of saying rejection letters have already gone out? She also couldn't tell me what the min cutoff was because she had not looked at the spreadsheet.

Hmm well I guess that’s a good sign. I was going to call too but I figured today being a holiday that she wouldn’t be in. Thanks for calling!! I guess by next week we should know!! Let me know if you get anything.

Me too!

Have either of you received an email requesting an appt for back ground check?

I have not received any email. You?

Yes. Not sure if it’s related but I recieved one last Friday.

Ugh now I'm even more nervous because I didn't receive anything. Have you scheduled the appt?

I haven’t received an email either. When I did my LVN I don’t remember needing to make an appointment for a background check. For fingerprinting yes. And that was just a couple years ago.
