Hello,
I am currently in a FNP program in Chicago and as a requirement for class, need to communicate with an international nurse for the semester. Thank you in advance and I promise it will be fun!

hey sharrie thanks for getting back to me but I think you are already doing this for another person in my class! haha thanks anyway :)
Hey fozzybear18- thanks for getting back to me! I'll start off by introducing myself. I'm Jamie from Chicago IL. I have been a nurse since beginning of 2006 and currently work in the Medical ICU at Northwestern University. What is your speciality and where did you go to school?
Hi Jamie. My name is Andy and I am currently working as a neonatal research nurse co-ordinator in Liverpool, England. I qualified as an RN back in 1991 and I have worked in a number of fields, mostly with kids (probably cos I've never grown up:clown:). For the last 14 years have been working on level 3 NICU.
Thats awsome Andy. Where did you get your education? Also, would you mind telling me more about your past nursing background and experiences? Do you have any family? What are your goals for the future?
I worked on a cardiac step-down for about 3 years and loved it and have working in the Medical ICU for a little over a year now. I love living in Chicago, even though the winters get very cold.
