Specializes in Cardiac.

This is just a rough draft. I whipped this up in a couple of hours. I've obviously blocked out any information pertaining to my name and location. Some of the formatting might look weird but that's because of how it's rendered when I copy/paste. The stuff I need help with is the content. Thanks! PS Believe it or not this all fits on one page.

I bet you could tighten up that first section so it's less intimidating and more powerful. Like combine 2,3,and 6 since they cover similar areas. Then each section would have it's own topic.

- Provide care to open heart surgery and cath lab patients through interpretation of advanced ECG recordings, management of cardiac drips, chest tubes, and pace makers as well as management of more chronic illness such as congestive heart failure, life-threatening and benign arrhythmia's, peripheral vascular disease, and coronary artery disease.

- Coordinate nursing care with multiple other members of the healthcare team such as physicians, surgeons, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, social workers, test scheduling, etc. to ensure the optimal care of each patient.

- Assume the role of instructor and preceptor to staff ..... blah blah

- Educate patients and families ... yada yada

- Achieved PCCN certification and undertook a greater role in decisions regarding nursing practice, advocation ...
