Have any of you attended the medspub review course where you are at? If so, what did you think of it and do you think it worked? AND, did you just study what they told you, or did you do other review books as well.

I haven't taken my test yet, but we did have a live review from MedsPub as a requirement for our school. I thought it was a very good review. Turns out too i had actually bought the review book they used for the program beforehand thinking it would be a good tool to use in my studies.
There were 2 different instructors and I think they presented the material in a good, straight and matter-of-fact kind of way. I am doing other things as well to study.
My date is early next month.
Hope that helps

While I didn't find the class all that beneficial, the book was a great review source, and the MEDS practice NCLEX questions are right on the money. I did lots of their questions on-line, and cruised through the NCLEX feeling fairly comfortable. The questions are very similar in style and level of difficulty.
I have only had one class so far, and the instructor is giving us "hints" and telling us to highlight areas to focus on. She said she writes for the NCLEX too. We don't get our online questions (tests) until the end of this review course this week. I wondered if anyone who did do this also did other practice questions other than MedsPub. Like, Saunders too? I am doing Saunders CD right now as well. I figured it shouldn't hurt to do that too. I am still waiting for my ATT, but got the verification letter from Pearson Vue that they received my registration and fee. Hope to schedule my NCLEX soon!
Well, I had a Lippincott review book, but the questions were REALLY easy and very straight forward...So I stuck with the Meds-line tests. I did not "study" a lot of the things they went over in the class, I just did lots and lots of practice questions, reading rationales. Most people I know recommended that method of study.
I've heard Saunders is good, so I am sure it would be beneficial to work on some of their questions, too.
