Anyone from U of Alberta or U of Manitoba

Just interested in hearing from students in these programs...any likes, dislikes, general opinions? All replies welcome!

New to the board. Really my first year of nursing but I was able to transfer quite a few credits..

I read one of the responses the other night

about the faculty at the u of m being inbred and asked my instructor tonight how she got in (she just got her master's). She told me that you do need 3 references but that her best advice is extracurricular activities ie. student council, ... She said something about needing three references, one of which has to be from the u of m. Still a little worried though. She told me the advanced practice programs are virtually impossible to get into. Anyone been successful in that?
