Anyone trying for the Yavapai College Nursing Program?

What are you points toward the app? I am just curious about what I am up against!

Well I don't know if this is true but I heard last year all the alternates were able to start the nursing program *(there were that many "declines"). I hope this is the case for you.

I did get in with 82 points to Prescott. I have heard a lot of people upset b/c hearing someone with lower points got in and they didn't :( I really have faith in the YC point system though- it was designed to keep things fair even though I am sure it doesn't seem fair when you don't know why you weren't accepted!!!!

Kirsalih keep thinking positive and hopefully you will get good news soon. Did they say when you should hear whether or not you got in?

Can you please clarify and tell me what exactly your letters said?

Mine starts off as

"Welcome to the Nursing Program! This year instead of mailing out the acceptance packets, we are trying something new....."

Hey- that is the 2nd letter I've received. It sounds promising! Maybe they have alternates come and fill out paperwork or maybe it means you have a spot...

i wish i knew. but, would they make me fill out acceptance paperwork if i wasn't accepted? hmmm...

I am surprised that no one else has been commenting on this thread since the last admission process, it's such a torturous waiting period! ;)
