PAL offered a good package i ave tried them a year ago. you have to contact them in there office for the slot availability. not all sched availble for this offer.

thanx for the reply...how much did it cost you including taxes, etc?

Im planning to go there February 2009....so i want to know other additional expenses, like taxes, surcharges and terminal fees, so i can save enough money....

i already contacted them, their reply was $254/head for the swingaround package hongkong if i stay in central park hotel, twin bed.....

any info would be greatly appreciated....

My first question would be why are you wanting to test in HK when the test is now offered in Makati? The exam is not going to be any different depending on the locale that you write it in. You are still going to be getting the same questions.

:D I am have been wanting to go to hong kong....

Me, I took my exam in HK when the Manila location was still in the making. A good tour after your exam in HK will be a good gift to reward yourself of all the efforts you did during those months when you were studying. Hong Kong is a good place to visit. Lots of tourist attractions. Godbless on your exam and enjoy your tour of HK hyveth.

how much did it cost you? How much are the taxes, terminal fees in airports, etc? i want to know if it is wise to take the package or do it on my own....:uhoh3:

I really want to visit HK, hopefully it will be my first trip outside the Phil....and I'm so excited about it...ofcourse I'll make sure I'll do good in my exam since that is the reason I'll go there in the first place....:D

I didn't avail of the said package but I took PAL for my trip to HK. Its around P18,000(rough estimate) all in all compared to cebu pacific's P7,000+ only back and forth. In my experience PAL has better service to think that its expensive. They'll serve meals in flight compared to CEB's snacks only. If you can save at least 10,000 for air fare alone it could be a good additional to your pocket money. A little something for your shopping in HK.

yes its there choice to travel anywer they wnat to take and its a good reward to go dinseyland after the exam to refresh and relax, the terminal fee outbound 750pesos, fuel surcharge $20,travl tax 1650, package tax $100(estimate) better have it book now so that you can avail this promo.

Bigger issue to consider that if you are planning to go in February and you book this package now, what if you cannot get an actual date to test during your stay there? There is still a limited number of slots available in the testing center and most states only have an open window of 90 days to test before they ATT expires.

If you want to go to HK, then go for a visit. But trying to get rushed to get a date there to test and not be able to really enjoy your stay there does not make any sense. Better to test in Makati and then go here for three day holiday afterwardds and truly get to enjo everything. There is so muck to see and do there, not just go to Disneyland.

Stanley Street Market, Victoria Peak, ride around the harbor and possibly a visit to Macau. Kowloon has many fabulous things to see and do as well, let alone what is available to you on actual Hong Kong Island.

Best to have the time to truly enjoy your stay there if you have to pay for it.
