Anyone who took Micro or Chem at CCConline already?

Im curious if anyone who took Micro, or chem or even A&P through CCC online were able to get an "A"??? Are the teachers good? Are you able to redo quizes and homeworks as many times as you want up until their due date?

Hi Jesse,

Just by chance are you talking about Cuyahoga Community College? I am taking classes at this college and am taking Micro this summer and then I am done. I start my RN program in August at Huron School of Nursing, was accepted into CCC, but couldn't start until Fall of '06. I have taken alot of classes online but never did A&P or any biology's online, but it depends on the teacher, if they have there Phd. or Doctorat they seem to be a bit tougher, but like I said they all teach and test differently. I took Micro at ccconline. You may take quizzes and exams only once, and may submit assignments only once. There is the opportunity for an extra credit paper (from my instructor, Kathy Allshouse) if you need it. I did earn an A. Her grading system is based soley on a point system so it is possible for the entire class to get A's or fail -- no curve. You earn the grade -- you get it. HTH

No, CCC online is through a network of colorado schools. http://www.ccconline.org They offer lots of online classes- and science classes with labs- which can be hard to find.

What are the exam's like? Im assuming all tests and quizes are openbook since its online. There's no proctored tests?

All open book, no proctors. Some of the questions are really tough, some really easy. You can't always easily find the answer in the book if you don't understand the material. I found it best to try and do them without the book in order to be sure I knew the material. I did look up some things when I was stuck between answers (they are all multiple choice!)

Just finished Micro through CCC online Denver. As someone else pointed out the exams and assignments are scheduled for certain days/times and can only be submitted once. My instructor was fair however some of the exams were really out in left field. The exams were multiple guess for the most part. Glad to have it finished and moving on.
