Has anyone been in or in the THR/ El centro nursing program? If so, do you have advice for an entering student. I have been to nursing school before, it was a BSN program but I had to withdraw because of financial reasons. So, besides nursing being hard and very time consuming, is there any advice you can give about this program.

I am currently in the THR/El Centro program. I am entering my second year or third semester. So far the only big problem with this program is that it is very unorganized. The best thing is that you are guaranteed a job when you graduate. I have found the program interesting and challenging. Are you starting the program or just looking to apply? Just hang in there and be ready to be flexible. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.
I will be starting the program in Jan 2011, they have already sent us a schedule of days we will be in class. What do you mean by unorganized, I have heard this comment by many others. the last program I was in, was a BSN program, we had to be at school Mon- Fri with one day off and we were all over the place, they didn't want to admit that they took in too many students (40 over the intended number) and so it was just chaotic. BTW, Thanks for responding to my post. Good Luck with your 3rd semester.

Hi thawk28 - How do you like the THR/El Centro program? Do you find it to be "unorganized" too? Any insight on this program would be greatly appreciated.
