Anyone taking Psych 101 this summer?

So in my discussions with my advisor she recommended I take Psych 101 again to raise my GPA. I took it (25 years ago!) and got a C and it's the only pre-req that I have a C in.

I found a Psych 101 class that meets for 5 weeks starting in July. I've never taken a condensed class like this before. Anyone doing this now? Obviously I've taken the class before, but it's been a while :imbar

I am taking psych 101 for summer quarter. We started this week and the class runs for 8 weeks. We cover two full chapters a week have two paper assignments per week. We also have an exam every Friday and a two page essay as our final. I was actually expecting it to be a busier schedule since it is condensed into the 8 weeks. So far It seems pretty easy. We shall see.

I'm taking BIO156 (gen bio) and PSY101 this summer. I will then follow with A & P I and CHM130 for Fall. After that, I should have all my prereq's required to apply for the Rio Salado online nursing program. While I'm waiting for acceptance, etc I will take A & P II and microbio...Then I should only have to deal with the nursing classes!!!

I finished it w/an A in the spring.....loved my Prof & thought it was a great class....3 essays...1 presentation.

Taking Psyc 2301, 16 weeks into 4 weeks. Two tests a week and a final and a 5 page paper.....

Keeping my fingers crossed. So far 94, 100, 100, 100 on exams...2 more to go.

Starting two online classes on June 30th: General Psych and Dev Psych

I've taken Psych already, but it was in a condensed format (6 weeks) online. It was a lot of reading, and a lot of papers, but other than that, it was pretty easy. I think as long as you read all of the required material and work hard on your papers, you should be fine. My professor was a stickler for proper paper formatting.
