Anyone Taking NCLEX in March- South Florida Area? SO ANXIOUS HELPP:(

Published

Hey everyone!!! I just signed up to allnurses. Ive been coming to this site and reading posts from everyone for years but I've never actually signed up and contributed to the conversation. IM SO SCARED. I take my test in two weeks and it's all I ever think about. I constantly have really bad anxiety just thinking about it and I have trouble sleeping at night. Failing is NOT an option but the thought of it still haunts me. Im so scared that Ill get a bunch of SATA ?s and pharm ?s that i've never heard of and it'll freak me out :( I currently am about to finish the Online Hurst Review and I also use ?s from Kaplan and Hogan. I know this anxiety is normalI just hate feeling this way..any tips?? Has anyone just recently taken the test that can give me some positive feedback?? THANKS

Calm down, it's just an exam and you won't die if you don't pass!

Having said that, it's normal to have some anxiety just find some ways to redirect it. Coming to this site daily and reading/seeing what others have gone through anda re going through may help. In fact I'm sure it will.

Make a to do list of your study schedule and check of daily your accomplishments.

I'm in Central Fl and I test in about 3 wks so I have some anxiety to but I'm trying to force myself to do at least 2000k and to read summaries of content from Hurst at least 2xs and listen to all the boring Kaplan content videos so that I have no regrets come test day.

good luck.

We are on the same boat. My test is next week so I know how you feel. But don't let these anxiety come over you. As they say, when you take the NCLEX, try to maintain your anxiety level to mild only so you have increased problem solving skills, and not to panic for sure you'll fail. Just relax, study as much as you can, keep on practicing those questions, breathe, relax, and most importantly PRAY. You do your best and let God do the rest. :) We can do this!

Thanks for the input..I really appreciate it..and good luck to you as well!!

I'm in South Florida...what part?
