Albany Medical Center, or have taken it there in the past?? I'm testing there August 19-21...

I just switched to npac and call tomorrow to confirm they got it. Maybe ill get a date too. Have you heard anything about Albany??

Haven't heard too much about Albany...but the little that I have heard is good...wish I'd hear some more though.. :-)

Hey all,

My friend took cpne there in may 2011, she passed, first try. She passed all of her stations but failed something with a patient(for i&o she documented patient on 5 liters of O2 but when the instructor checked it was 6 liters. The respiratory therapist came in at one point and decreased it without informing her, the instructor said that she should of went to the charge nurse and got report?!?!). She had next day to correct and she did. She said everybody was nice, the instructor told her that that facility was tough and was impressed she wasn't nervous. Apparently they can't stand that, i guess getting Xanax was a good idea.

Thanks Pixie! It's nice to hear some more stories about this facility! I work in a hospital currently, so I'm hoping that I can just go there and put in my mind that I am in that setting all the time...and just stay positive that I can do it!

@anjule, I took my CPNE recently at Utica. You will like the facility, and the CA and CE's were all really nice.

At any site... Know your stuff, be confident and organized, and you can do it!!!
