when i do a search, i see only post regarding the concepts exams. the fundamentals of nursing doesn’t count towards excelsior degrees. i want to take this exam to transfer for fundamentals credit at my school for the spring. what do i need to study for this exam? i downloaded the free exam content guide. i have kozier and erb’s fundamentals of nursing text from my fundamentals class. i plan to purchase the practice tests. but i don’t know if this course will transfer back to my school since i wont know for sure until the faculty return from break. however, if it does transfer, i want to have already studied and be prepared to take the ec exam. how soon do you get your results after taking the exam? i plan to call them after break, i just hope to get some info from the boards.

please..any info would be helpful...thanks

i think you need to ask your school whether they would accept this credit from excelsior. each school is different so better hear it from your own school. you find out your grade as soon as you are done with the test (pearson vue). fyi, excelsior's fundamental's does not have a clinical component so most likely it won't be tranferable. good luck.

p.s.

what's your background? are you an lpn? generic rn student?
