Anyone take the NCLEX in Missouri??

Published

Hello! I was wondering if anyone has graduated from an out of state school and is taking the NCLEX in Missouri. I am having a lot of trouble figuring out exactly what I have to do. I have registered and sent my finger prints. What else do I need to do? If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. My school gave me absolutely not information and I'm starting to freak a bit.

Thank you!

I presume you have applied to the state nursing board and paid their fees and arranged for your school to forward transcripts? I would say the next thing is register with pearsonvue and they will send you your ATT once state BON OK's it

Hello, I know what you are talking about. I just graduated an Arkansas school for nursing and my teacher didnt know anything about it, but luckily I called MOSBN and figured it all out.

OK, so first you fill out a licensure by examination application for nursing

http://www.pr.mo.gov/boards/nursing/lpnexminationapp53003.pdf

the app will have to have the directors signature and a school seal. MAKE SURE, you have your school send your transcripts to the MO board and not the state you are in!!!!! Register with L1enrollment for the $52.20 fingerprints and send the receipt in with your application to the board. send the 40.00 app fee with your board application. that is it, then you register with pearon vue and wait for your ATT to be sent.

MO automatically give you a temp license when you graduate so that's a perk. well hope that helps, my email addy is [email protected] if you need help

The instructions can be found on the Board website, with the application itself, or you can call and ask questions.
